This past Saturday, the 10th Annual 5K Run & Walk for Autism took place in Schenectady Central Park . The host, the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region, attends to people living with Autism in the 12 surrounding counties to the Capital Region.
The 5K run began at 9:00 AM being followed by an awareness fair, team pictures, family activities, raffles, food vendors, the 5K walk, and additional activities. Devil Dawg helped kick off the event before leading all those in attendance on their walk. This yearly event is one of many that is held by the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region to help raise money and awareness.
