ALBANY, NY — Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero orchestrated a trade Wednesday, bringing Taylor Hall from the Edmonton Oilers to the New Jersey Devils. Instantly, New Jersey added a high-powered forward to their arsenal.
Hall, the first overall pick during the 2010 NHL Draft, has produced 328 points, including 132 goals, in 381 games.
“Taylor is a dynamic player with speed and youth that changes the complexion of our team,” Shero said during a conference call. “We feel he fits into the direction we wanted to go a year ago, which is that fast, supportive and attacking style.”
Although the trade does not have an immediate impact on the AHL Devils, Albany fans will have a chance to see Hall in action during the upcoming season. Season Ticket Members, Flex Members and 20-Game Members will receive a ticket to a New Jersey Devils preseason game, a ticket to a New Jersey regular season game and the ability to save off NHL box office pricing. Additionally, Members will also be invited to exclusive New Jersey Devils Members’ Events.
