Butler Recalled By NJ Devils

NEWARK, NJ – Before Saturday’s Albany Devils contest at the Portland Pirates, the New Jersey Devils recalled right-winger Bobby Butler from the AHL.
New Jersey plays Sunday at the New York Islanders and Butler, who signed a two-way contract with the team on Aug. 9, could make his Devils NHL debut. Butler leaves Albany on a four-game point streak (1g-3a). For the season, he leads the AHL Devils with 27 points (16g-11a) in 37 outings. He is first with five power-play goals and tied for second with a plus-10 rating.
A native of Marlborough, MA, Butler represented the Devils in the 2013 Dunkin’ Donuts AHL All-Star Classic in Providence, RI on Jan. 27-28.
