Clermont reassigned to Albany

ALBANY, NY – The Albany Devils goaltending void left by Keith Kinkaid’s recall has been filled. On Thursday, New Jersey reassigned Maxime Clermont to Albany from Elmira (ECHL).
Clermont played two games for Albany last season. He earned his first career AHL victory by making 28 saves on 30 shots in a 3-2 win at Providence on Oct. 23, 2011. During the two game stint, he registered a 2.01 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage.
With Elmira this year, Clermont is 15-10-3 with a 3.25 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage. On Wednesday, he stopped 40 for 41 shots in a 5-1 win against Wheeling.
