Clermont Reassigned To Orlando

ALBANY, NY – The New Jersey Devils have reassigned goaltender Maxime Clermont from Albany to Orlando (ECHL).

Clermont, 22, was New Jersey’s fourth choice (174th overall) during the 2010 NHL Draft. He made his professional debut on Oct. 23, 2011 with Albany, making 28 saves at Providence. Since the 2011-12 season, he has played in five AHL contest, posting a 1-2-1 record with a 1.75 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage.

Last season, Clermont played 27 games in the ECHL. He went 6-9-0 with a 3.34 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage with Elmira and 5-3-1 with a 3.35 goals-against average and a .891 save percentage with Orlando.
