GLENS FALLS, NY — After going 1-3-0-0 during a four-game homestand, the Albany Devils will try and get back on the winning track on the road with a 7 pm outing against the Adirondack Phantoms Saturday at Glens Falls Civic Center. Albany is 2-1-0-1 on the road, while Adirondack is 2-2-0-1 at home.
- The Devils are third in the Northeast Division and tied for seventh in the Eastern Conference at 5-4-0-1 (11 pts.). The Phantoms are fourth in the division and tied for ninth in the conference at 4-4-0-2 (10 pts.).
- After the Devils loss against Norfolk Friday, Head Coach Rick Kowalsky said he was leaning toward starting Maxime Clermont at Adirondack. In four career AHL games, the netminder is 1-1-1 with a 1.39 goals-against average and a .946 save percentage.
Devils vs. Phantoms Series
The Devils are 22-18-5-4 all-time against the Phantoms, including a 15-5-2-3 home mark and a 7-13-3-1 road record. This season, Albany claimed a 4-1 victory against Adirondack at Times Union Center. Tim Sestito netted a pair of goals and Scott Wedgewood made 24 saves on 25 attempts.
After Saturday, games between the two clubs at Times Union Center will be played on Nov. 9, Nov. 29, Dec. 27, Jan. 25 and Feb. 15. Outings at Glens Falls Civic Center are on Nov. 23, Jan. 4, Jan. 18, Feb. 21 and Apr. 6.
Albany is 4-2-0-0 during its last six trips to Glens Falls Civic Center.
