BINGHAMTON, NY — The Albany Devils, who have scored 14 goals during the last two games, travel to face the Binghamton Senators Saturday at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Albany has won eight of its last 11 games and has earned at least one point in nine of those contests.

Notables
– The Devils are second in the Northeast Division and fifth in the Eastern Conference at 13-7-1-1 (28 pts.). The Senators are second in the East Division and fourth in the conference at 14-6-0-1 (29 pts.). Albany is 6-3-0-1 on the road, while Binghamton is 7-2-0-1 at home.

Stefan Matteau and Kelly Zajac are both on six-game scoring streaks. Matteau has five goals and four assists, while Zajac has a goal and seven helpers.

Reece Scarlett leads the team with three power-play goals and Joe Whitney is first with 10 power-play points.

– Binghamton lost, 4-2, against Hershey Friday. Jim O’Brien and Buddy Robinson helped the Senators jump out to a 2-0 lead after the first 7:05, but the Bears responded for four straight tallies.

Stephane Da Costa and Jean-Gabriel Pageau are the Senators active leaders with 10 and 15 points, respectively. Da Costa has seven goals and 13 helpers and Pageau has five tallies and 10 assists.

Devils vs. Senators Series
The Devils are 14-12-1-1 all-time against the Senators, including an 8-5-0-1 home mark and a 6-7-1-0 road record. Last season, Albany went 3-4-0-1 against Binghamton. Last time out, Binghamton claimed a 5-0 victory on Apr. 13 at Times Union Center. Scott Wedgewood made 29 saves.

Other meetings between the two teams this season include contests at Times Union Center on Jan. 26, Mar. 19 and Mar. 30. Games at the Broome Country Veterans Memorial Arena are on Dec. 21 and Jan. 24.

Albany has won six of its last eight road games, including four of its last five. Away from Times Union Center, the Devils have earned 13 points with a 6-3-0-1 record and are outscoring opponents 30-25.
