Storyline

Entering the last week before the AHL All-Star break, the second-place Albany Devils will have a chance to make up some ground against the first-place Springfield Falcons. The top two teams in the Northeast Division meet Tuesday at 7 pm at MassMutual Center. The contest is the sixth of eight between the teams and Albany is 2-2-1-0.

Scott Wedgewood made 21 saves for his first career shutout, helping the Devils to a 3-0 win against the Falcons on Jan. 10 at MassMutual Center. Rod Pelley had a goal and an assist and Joe Whitney and Artem Demkov both scored. Albany and Springfield will meet again at MassMutual Center on Mar. 14 and at Times Union Center on Apr. 19.
