Devils Daily: Training Camp (10.1.2012)

The day before the Albany Devils’ first exhibition game, the team returned to AmeriHealth Pavilion for the fourth day of on-ice training. The team was once again split into two groups with the first session at 10 am and the second at 12:30 pm.

The Devils are scheduled to face off with the Adirondack Phantoms Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Flyers Virtua Center Skate Zone (Voorhees, Pa.). Other preseason exhibition games include a contest against the Connecticut Whale on Wednesday at 7 pm at Champions Skating Center (Cromwell, Conn.) and an outing against the Binghamton Senators at 7:05 pm at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena (Binghamton, N.Y.).

On Sunday, the team participated in an inter-squad scrimmage and Team White prevailed, 3-1, against Team Red. Alexandre Carrier, Jacob Josefson and Harri Pesonen scored in the winning effort. Mike Hoeffel scored the lone tally for Team Red.
