With three games this weekend, the Devils conclude a five-game road trip, which ties for the longest of the season. The team will travel more than 1,000 miles with games at Hamilton, Syracuse and Providence, starting Friday. Against the three opponents this season, Albany is a combined 3-0-1-1

- Friday’s game at Connecticut was Tim Sestito’s 250th career AHL appearance. The Rome, N.Y. native, has registered 85 points with 41 goals and 44 assists during that span.
- Stephane Veilleux and Darcy Zajac both moved up the Devils scoring ranks with a pair of assists at Connecticut Friday. For Veilleux, the multi-point performance extended his scoring streak to three games and moved him into fifth on the team with 20 points. In 37 games, he has nine goals, 11 assists and a plus-3 rating. For Zajac, his showing at Connecticut was his second multi-point game of the season. He is ninth on the team with 15 points backed by six goals and nine assists. Additionally, Zajac is second on the team with a plus-6 rating.
- Rookie Eric Gelinas registered his eighth goal of the season with a blast from the right point in the first period at Connecticut Friday. He leads all Devils defensemen with 16 points, including eight goals and eight assists. Additionally, Gelinas is tied with fellow rookie Joe Whitney for the team lead with four power-play tallies.
- At Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Saturday, Nick Palmieri netted his fourth goal of the season and 32nd of his AHL career. This year, Palmieri, who began the season with New Jersey, had produced nine points in 22 outings. For his career, he has 57 points in 126 games.
- Albany lost Peter Harrold to New Jersey Saturday, only to get him back Sunday. Harrold was recalled after Albany’s game at Connecticut Friday. The defenseman missed that game, ending his streak as the only Devil to appear in every game this season. Eric Gelinas and Darcy Zajac have played in the most games for Albany this season with 44 appearances each.
