ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Albany Devils travel to St. John’s to take on the IceCaps twice this weekend. The first game is Saturday at 6:00 pm Eastern Time at Mile One Centre. The Devils are coming off a 3-2 overtime win Wednesday against the North Division’s number one team, the Syracuse Crunch. St. John’s is coming off a 3-1 loss against Utica Wednesday.

Overtime Hero: It was Kevin Rooney who netted the overtime winner Wednesday against the Crunch. Jacob MacDonald fed Rooney in stride for a tip-in goal to give Rooney his eighth goal of the season and to give the Devils the win.
Division Rivalry: The IceCaps currently stand in third in the North Division with 43 points and a .538 points percentage. Their record stands at 19-16-4-1 and they’re currently in eighth in the Eastern Conference. The Devils stand in second in the division and have 48 points and a .600 points percentage.
