Storyline

The Albany Devils will try and make it three-in-a-row when they host the Binghamton Senators at Times Union Center Wednesday at 7 pm. The Devils are coming off back-to-back shutouts at home – 2-0 Saturday against Hartford and 3-0 Sunday against Syracuse. Scott Wedgewood hasn’t allowed a goal in 126:50.

Devils vs. Senators Series

The Devils are 15-14-2-1 all-time against the Senators, including an 8-6-0-1 home mark and a 7-8-2-0 road record. Albany, which went 3-4-0-1 against Binghamton last year, is 1-2-1-0 against the Senators this season.

During their last meeting, the Devils fought back from two goals down, but Matt Puempel netted the game-winner midway through the second period, giving the Senators a 6-3 victory on Jan. 26 at Times Union Center. Adam Larsson led all Devils scorers with a goal and an assist. Mike Hoeffel and Dan Kelly also scored.

The teams will meet for the final time on Mar. 30 at Times Union Center.
