Joe Whitney | 2013-14 Season


What do the last three Devils seasons have in common? Joe Whitney lead each team in scoring. He had 41 points in 2011-12, 51 in '12-'13 and 53 this past season. He logged a career-high 73 games and producing 22 points and a career-best 31 points. This year, he became the franchise's all-time leader with 148 points, 63 goals and 85 assists.

His AHL season was highlighted by a six-game scoring streak in mid-November and he represented the Devils at the 2014 AHL All-Star Classic in St. John's.

Whitney got a taste of the NHL on Jan. 24, making his debut against Washington.
