Loktoinov recalled by NJ Devils

NEWARK, NJ – On Wednesday, the New Jersey Devils recalled Andrei Loktionov from the Albany Devils. The transaction comes one week after the NHL Devils acquired the Russian center from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a fifth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Loktionov made his AHL Devils debut at Syracuse Saturday and played at Binghamton Sunday. In 134 career AHL game, he has registered 29 goals and 68 assists for 97 points.

During his first North American season, Loktionov was a member of the 2008-09 Memorial Cup-winning Windsor Spitfires, where his teammates included Adam Henrique and Harry Young.

New Jersey also announced Wednesday that Dainius Zubrus has been placed on injury reserve and that Harry Young has been reassigned on loan to Albany from Kalamazoo (ECHL).
