NEWARK, NJ – The New Jersey Devils returned one of the Albany Devils top goal scorers. Reid Boucher was assigned from the NHL to the AHL Thursday evening.
To start the season, Boucher played 21 games with Albany, registering 10 goals and eight assists. New Jersey recalled the 20-year-old on Dec. 4 and he made his NHL debut that same night, registering an assist and scoring a shootout goal.
In 23 NHL games, Boucher registered two goals, including his first career tally on Dec. 18 against Ottawa, and five assists. Most recently, he posted an assist on Jaromir Jagr’s goal Tuesday in a 7-1 win against St. Louis.
