Kudos to Jane Cebula for her effort, trying to win a cruise courtesy of Yankee Trails World Travel. Although she didn’t win, she still walked away with a Devils prize pack.

If you haven’t read it yet, check out this article on the goaltending tandem Jeff Frazee and Keith Kinkaid here: http://www.thealbanydevils.com/one-one-punch
Not every quote made it into that story. Here are some of the leftovers.
Head Coach Rick Kowalsky
On Frazee’s season
Jeff just in general has seemed to have a different mindset this year. I can’t put my finger on it. I think his best hockey up to this point was right before he got injured. I think he’s back now to where he needs to be. I think Keith has pushed him a little bit. There has been a healthy competition and that’s something you want as a coach.
On Being on the same page
Right now as a goaltending tandem they are on the same page; they just want to win. It doesn’t matter who is in net, they are very supportive of each other. That says a lot.
On Kinkaid’s ability to bounce back
I think has been one of the best things he’s done. When he hasn’t had a night where he’s been that good, he really wants to get back in and take charge. I think that has been the biggest positive in his game.
Jeff Frazee
On being a four-year pro
Every day is different. You come in and learn something new. I’ve learned to adapt and handle certain situations better as I get older. For the most part, every couple of games something new pops up.
On his approach to this season
I think I’ve just grown and not just as a hockey person, but as a person. I’m learning as I go and I’m getting to the point where I’m settling down and getting comfortable with myself.
On his style
I mainly do whatever it takes to stop the puck. My whole mentality to want to win and stop the puck is what helps me.
On being recalled by New Jersey
It’s definitely exciting and a bit of a whirlwind. I didn’t know my travel plans, but it was fun. It was good to work with coach Terreri for a little bit and its definelty something I look forward to.
Keith Kinkaid
On entering the season
I wanted to fight for a starting job and help this organization in any way I could.
On if he has settled into the pro game
I feel comfortable with the guys and I think the guys feel comfortable with me. We are a close team and its starting to come together now.
On his style
I do whatever it takes to stop the puck. There is no certain set style. It’s whatever save selection I need to use, I’m going to use.
On being recalled by New Jersey
To be called up was an experience. It was fun – that’s the best word I can use to describe it. Just to be on the bench and apart of the NHL team.
