Kyle Palmieri is one of many new faces in the Devils organization and will certainly add to New Jersey’s depth at the forward position. The 24-year-old was acquired for a second-round draft pick during this year’s draft and two third-round picks in 2016.
The Albany Devils are no stranger to Palmieri’s abilities. Between 2010 and 2013, the Montvale, NJ native was an opponent of the Devils while playing for the Syracuse Crunch and the Norfolk Admirals — affiliates of the Anaheim Ducks.
During 15 games, Palmieri produced 11 points, tallying seven goals and fours assists against Albany.
Palmieri, who was Anehiem’s first-round pick during the 2009 NHL Draft, has logged 148 AHL games, producing 134 points (75g-39a). He has played 198 NHL games, registering 89 points (43g-46a).
