SPRINGFIELD, MA – The Albany Devils and Springfield Falcons are two of the hottest teams in the American Hockey League and they face off Sunday at 5 pm at MassMutual Center. The Devils have won four consecutive games 7-1-1-0 in their last nine games. The Falcons have won two straight and are 6-1-0-0 in their last seven outings.
Albany is second in the North Division at 8-3-2-0 (.692), while Springfield is third in the Atlantic Division at 6-5-1-0 (.542).
Players to Watch
• Albany: Corey Tropp is on a three game point streak, posting a goal in three assists. The 26-year-old is tied for fourth on the team with eight points. He has three goals and five helpers in 13 outings.
• Springfield: Dustin Jeffrey, who was the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 1, leads Springfield with 17 points. He has totaled seven goals, including four on the power play, and 10 helpers in 12 games.

• All-Time Series: The Devils and Falcons are meeting for the 69th time and the Devils are 33-28-2-5 overall with a 17-11-2-4 home mark and a 16-17-0-1 road record. Last season, Albany went 4-3-0-1.
• Last Meeting: The Devils defeated the Springfield Falcons, 1-0, in a shootout on Apr. 3 at MassMutual Center. Scott Wedgewood made 32 saves during regulation and overtime and three more in the shootout. Matt Lorito netted the lone shootout goal, scoring in the top of the third round.
