Preview: Devils at Sound Tigers, 5:00 PM
BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Albany Devils will try and push their point streak to seven games when they travel to face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Sunday at Webster Bank Arena. The Devils are coming off a dominant, 5-1, performance at Utica Saturday and are 5-0-0-1 during their current run.
Albany is are second in the North Division and second in the Eastern Conference at 38-15-8-1 (.685). Bridgeport, which is in a battle for a playoff spot, is fourth in the Atlantic Division and sixth in the conference at 35-23-3-3 (.594).
What To Watch For
• Albany: During Saturday’s game, Jim O’Brien registered a pair of goals and an assist. Nick Lappin and Blake Pietila both had a goal and an assist as the Devils won for the 14th time in the last 19 outings. Paul Thompson leads the Devils against the Sound Tiger this season with seven points (2g-5a) in five games.
• Bridgeport: The Sound Tigers are 7-2-0-1 in their last 10 games and are on a four-game winning streak. The team is coming off a 2-1 overtime victory against Portland Saturday. Alan Quine netted the winner at 3:00 of the extra frame. Quine is second on the team with 39 points (14g-25a) in 49 games.

• All-Time: The Devils and Sound Tigers are meeting for the 69th time. The Devils are 29-28-3-8 overall with a 22-9-1-2 home mark and a 7-19-2-6 road record. Albany, which went 5-3-0-2 against Bridgeport last year, is 4-2-0-0 this season.
• Last Meeting: Paul Thompson registered a goal and an assist and Marc-Andre Gragnani posted a pair of helpers at the Devils defeated the Sound Tigers, 4-1, on Feb. 28 at Webster Bank Arena. Graham Black, Rod Pelley and Raman Hrabarenka also found the back of the net. Between the pipes, Yann Danis made 17 stops.
