ALBANY, NY – The Albany River Rats host the Providence Bruins for a 5 pm matchup at Times Union Center Saturday. The River Rats fell to the Comets Friday, 2-1, in a shootout and hold a 34-27-2-3 record. The Bruins are coming off a 3-1 win at Hartford Friday. They hold a 37-19-5-4 record.

So Far This Season: The River Rats and Bruins have faced off six times so far this season and the Rats hold a 3-3-0-0 record. Most recently, the Rats won in Providence on Mar. 3 with a final score of 4-3. This is the last time the teams will face off at Times Union Center, but will meet again on Friday in Providence for the final battle of the season.
Playoff Watch: Currently, there is just a four point difference between the first place team in the North Division and the fifth place team in the division. Holding first place is Syracuse with 75 points. In fifth, fighting for a playoff spot, is Utica with 71 points. The Devils are currently in third place in the division with 73 points.
Rats Are Back: The Devils will turn into the River Rats for the final time this season at Times Union Center, as they host their last Throwback Night of the season. All in-game elements will be turned from the Albany Devils to the Albany River Rats. In addition, the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative water bottle sponsored by Times Union featuring both the River Rats and Devils logo.
