At the conclusion of the 2016 NHL Draft, the New Jersey Devils selected nine players and acquired F Beau Bennett from Pittsburgh in exchange for a Devils’ 2016 3rd round (80th overall) draft choice.

Albany Devils Chief Executive Officer Christopher Ciceri has announced that he will retire at the end of the 2016-17 season. He will spend the upcoming year as a Special Advisor to New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center President Hugh Weber.

The NJDevils will have nine picks at the 2016 NHL Draft, which will be held at First Niagara Center in Buffalo on June 24-25.

The Devils will face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a preseason game at 7:05 pm on Thursday, Oct. 6 at Mohegan Sun Arena.

NHL.com’s Mike G. Morreale thinks the Devils will select Tyson Jost with the 11th overall pick during the 2016 NHL Draft.
