Joe Whitney, who has led Albany in scoring for the past three seasons, got his first NHL recall. The New Jersey Devils announced the transaction before their 11 am practice Thursday at AmeriHealth Pavilion.

Joe Whitney scored a goal and setup two more, helping the Albany Devils to their fourth consecutive win Tuesday against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Goaltender Keith Kinkaid made 22 saves in the Devils 3-0 victory during the 11 am outing at Webster Bank Arena.
