Albany County and SMG, management company of Times Union Center, announced today that they have come to an agreement with the New Jersey Devils, extending the lease for the AHL affiliate, the Albany Devils through the 2018-2019 season.

The Albany Devils influence continues on the national level. On Sunday, goaltender Scott Wedgewood and defenseman Vojtech Mozik made their NHL debuts.

Mike Sislo scored his first two career NHL goals during New Jersey’s, 7-4, victory against Minnesota Thursday at Prudential Center.

The NHL Trade Deadline has come and gone and while the New Jersey Devils were active, none of their moves had an immediate impact on the Albany Devils.

Faust, Johnson Back With Albany

After a one-day stint in the ECHL, defenseman Joe Faust and left-winger Ben Johnson are back with the Devils.

Former teammates of Martin Brodeur and now Albany Devils, talk Martin Brodeur jersey retirement.

The New Jersey Devils have recalled forwards Joseph Blandisi and Reid Boucher and defenseman Seth Helgeson from the Albany Devils.

In a weeks time, the NJ Devils have made the 10 transactions.

The New Jersey Devils made a number of transactions Friday that impact the Albany Devils lineup. The NHL Devils recalled defenseman Marc-Andre Gragnani, center Jim O’Brien and right winger Paul Thompson. Also, New Jersey returned right winger Mike Sislo on loan to Albany.

Joseph Blandisi’s desire has helped him earn his first career recall to the NHL.
