The Devils extended their point streak to eight games with a 4-1 win at Bridgeport.


After tying the game late, the Falcons prevailed, 4-3, in overtime to defeat the Devils Friday at MassMutual Center. Eric Selleck scored at 2:25 of the extra frame to end the Devils six-game winning streak.


The Devils pushed their winning streak to five games with a 5-2 victory against the Sound Tigers Sunday at Webster Bank Arena.


Matt Lorito was the hero, scoring at 3:06 of the extra frame to give the Devils a 3-2 victory against the Comets Saturday.


The Devils extended their winning streak to six games with a 4-3 victory against the IceCaps Wednesday at Times Union Center. Yann Danis set a franchise record with his seventh straight win and Mike Sislo extended his goal streak to eight games.


Brian O’Neill tied the game with 49 seconds remaining and Reece Scarlett netted the winner 1:56 into overtime elevating the Devils to a 3-2 victory against the Sound Tigers Sunday at Times Union Center.


Defensively, the Devils accomplished the same result Friday and Saturday against the Americans. Offensively, Albany did two better, defeating Rochester, 3-0, at Times Union Center.


Yann Danis became the second goaltender in franchise history to record back-to-back shutouts as the Devils defeated the Americans, 1-0, Friday.


Bruins Defeat Devils

Mike Sislo’s two goals were matched by Frank Vatrano’s pair as the Bruins earned a late win, defeating the Devils, 3-2, Tuesday at Times Union Center.


Yann Danis’ franchise record fifth shutout of the season came in front of 8,124 fans at Times Union Center, helping the Devils to a 3-0 victory against the Wolf Pack Saturday.


More than 10 months have passed since the Devils last had a game decided in a shootout. The time off didn’t appear to affect their performance because Mike Sislo and Jim O’Brien both scored, helping the Devils to a 4-3 victory against the Bruins Friday at Dunkin’ Donuts Center.


Dan Kelly’s goal with less than five minutes remaining wasn’t enough of a spark as the Devils lost, 4-1, against the Sound Tigers Saturday at Webster Bank Arena.
