Paul Thompson set up a pair of Blake Coleman goals and Rod Pelley netted his first goal of the season, elevating the Devils to a 3-1 victory against the Sound Tigers Wednesday at Times Union Center.


The Albany Devils erased a two goal deficit in the third period only to see the game slip away during the last 5:08.

Yann Danis was spectacular in net, while Matt Lorito and Joseph Blandisi each had three points for the Albany Devils, who defeated the Springfield Falcons, 4-0, Friday in front of a charged up crowd at Times Union Center.

Paul Thompson was one of three players recalled by New Jersey Friday.

Eric Selleck scored with 16 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Springfield Falcons a 2-1 victory against the Albany Devils Sunday at MassMutual Center. The OT loss halts the Devils’ four game-winning streak, but extends their point streak to six games.


Joseph Blandisi scored 1:53 into overtime to lift the Albany Devils to their fourth consecutive victory. The Devils knocked off the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 2-1, Saturday at PPL Center.


Reid Boucher had two goals and Vojtech Mozik has three assists as the Devils pushed their winning streak to three games.


Yann Danis made 24 saves as the Devils defeated the Wolf Pack, 4-0, Saturday at XL Center.

As they have done for most the first 10 games of the regular season, the Albany Devils relied on their power-play unit to lead them to victory. The team scored twice on the man advantage en route to a 4-3 win against the Syracuse Crunch Friday at War Memorial Arena.


The first three-on-three overtime at Times Union Center didn’t go as the hometown crowd hoped. Just 20 seconds into the extra frame, Mark Arcobello deked past a defender and beat goaltender Yann Danis’ glove to give the Toronto Marlies a 3-2 victory against the Albany Devils Sunday.

With a few tricks up their sleeves, the Albany Devils treated the home crowd to a 6-1` victory over the Utica Comets on Halloween at Times Union Center Saturday.


Despite Vojtech Mozik and Mike Sislo both finding the back of the net, the Albany Devils lost, 3-2, against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Friday.
