NEWARK, NJ – The New Jersey Devils announced that Mattias Tedenby has been assigned to Albany for a conditioning stint. The news comes the night before Albany hosts Bridgeport for a 7 pm contest at Times Union Center.
The 23-year-old has appeared in 84 career AHL games, producing 44 points with 19 goals and 25 assists. Last season, he played 12 games, registering five points — three goals and two helpers.
Now in his fourth professional season, Tedenby 117 career NHL games. He has 30 points with 10 goals and 20 assists.
New Jersey selected the winger 24th overall during the 2008 Draft.
