ALBANY, NY – Thanks to three wins last week, the Albany Devils have improved to 12-4-3-0 and their .711 points percentage is tied for fourth-best in the AHL. The team defeated the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, 3-1, Wednesday before dominating the Binghamton Senators, 4-0, Friday. Albany capped its week with a victory at the Springfield Falcons, 4-3, Saturday.

Additionally, he participated in two fights, including one Friday after Binghamton’s Mark Fraser boarded Blake Coleman.
Offensively, Paul Thompson led the team with a goal and four assists. He was responsible for the game-winning goal Saturday. Thompson, who celebrates his 27th birthday Monday, is on a six-game point streak, producing four goals and four assists.

Pelley and Thompson scored less than two minutes apart in the first period to take an early lead. After Bridgeport’s Ryan Strome made it a 2-1 game in the second, Coleman added an insurance goal at 6:58 of the third period. Yann Danis earned the win with 18 saves.
