Coming off back-to-back shutouts, the Albany Devils prepare for three games this week, starting Wednesday against the Binghamton Senators at Times Union Center (7 pm). The team then travels Saturday to face the Syracuse Crunch at the War Memorial at Oncenter (7pm). Albany concludes the week Sunday against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall (4 pm).

The Devils defense has limited opponents to 116 shots during the last five games — an average of 23.2 shots per game. During their two shutouts last weekend, Albany allowed 23 shots in a 2-0 win against Hartford Saturday and a season-low 13 shots in a 3-0 victory against Syracuse Sunday. For the season, the Devils are second in the AHL, averaging 26.07 shots against per game.
