The Albany Devils have won four of their last five games and have earned a point in each game during that span. Entering the week, Albany is sixth in the Eastern Conference and second in the Northeast Division at 34-20-4-7 (79 pts.). The team has a seven point cushion from the Hershey Bears, who are ninth with 72 points. Additionally, the Devils have closed the gap in the divisional race. They are five points behind the Springfield Falcons, who have 84 points.

The Devils travel to face Hershey at 7 pm Friday at Giant Center. The team returns to Times Union Center to host the Worcester Sharks at 5 pm Saturday and the Binghamton Senators at 3 pm Sunday. Hershey is ninth in the conference at 32-25-4-4 (72 pts.), while Worcester is 10th at 31-29-3-1 (66 pts.). The Senators, who lead the East Division, are third in the conference at 38-21-1-4 (81 pts.).

Saturday’s game is a part of the first ever “Albany Devils Fight Cancer Night.” Tickets are $18 with $5 benefiting the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. The first 2,000 people through the turnstiles Sunday will receive a Devils team poster, courtesy of Sunmark Federal Credit Union. Fans can stay after the game for the final postgame autograph session and postgame skate of the season.
