The Albany Devils begin a four-game road swing with a three-in-three weekend. The team travels to face Utica Friday (7 pm), Adirondack Saturday (7 pm) and Hershey Sunday (5 pm). Entering the week, the Devils are second in the Northeast Division and fifth in the Eastern Conference at 21-11-3-2 (47 pts.), including a 9-5-1-2 road record.

Friday’s game marks the halfway point of the season for the Devils, who currently boast a .635 winning percentage. Entering this year, the franchise’s highest winning percentage during the midpoint of any season was the 2009-10 team’s .586 mark (22-15-3-0).

Last week, the Devils defeated the two teams atop the league standings. Albany shut out Springfield, 3-0, at MassMutual Center Friday and followed with a win against Manchester, 5-2, at Times Union Center Saturday. The team’s bid for a six-point weekend was halted with a setback against Hershey, 4-1, at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall Sunday.

The Comets are fifth in the North Division and 15th in the Western Conference at 11-19-2-2 (26 pts.) with a 6-10-1-2 home mark. The Phantoms are third in the Northeast Division and tied for ninth in the Eastern Conference at 19-14-0-2 (40 pts.), including a 10-8-0-1 home record. The Bears are fourth in the East Division and tied with Adirondack in the Eastern Conference at 17-13-3-3 (40 pts.) with an 11-6-1-3 home showing.
