What To Watch For: Jan. 27 – Feb. 2



After a span of three straight three-in-three weekends, the Albany Devils prepare for a pair of divisional games. The Devils host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Friday at Times Union Center and then travel to face the Hartford Wolf Pack Saturday at XL Center. Both contests are slated for 7 pm.


Entering the week, the Devils are second in the Northeast Division and tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference at 23-14-3-3 (52 pts.), including a 12-8-2-0 home record and an 11-6-1-3 road mark. This season, Albany is 7-3-2-1 during Friday games and 10-5-1-0 during Saturday outings.


The Sound Tigers and the Wolf Pack rank fourth and fifth in the Northeast Division and 13th and 15th in the Eastern Conference, respectively. Bridgeport is 18-22-1-4 (41 pts.) with a 6-13-0-4 road record, while Hartford is 14-22-0-5 (33 pts.) with a 7-8-0-4 home mark.


Friday’s game features “SEFCU College Night” with $10 tickets for college students with proper identification at the Times Union Center box office. Additionally, students receive a voucher for a $1 soda and a $1 hot dog. “Happy Hour” for all adults 21-and-older is between 6-7 pm with $2 domestic drafts.
