What To Watch For: October 21-27

The Devils are off to their best start in franchise history with a 3-1-0-1 record. The franchise’s top mark after six games is 4-2-0-0, which was accomplished during the 2010-11 season.

The Devils earned three-out-of-a-possible-four points during a pair of games at Norfolk. Both contests were decided in a shootout with Albany losing 2-1 Friday and winning 2-1 Saturday.

Next up, the Devils travel to Utica Wednesday at 7:35 pm and then host Hartford Friday at 7 pm and Portland Saturday at 5 pm. Audio and video of all three games can be streamed online at ahllive.com. Video is available on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices.

Friday’s game against Hartford is the return of SEFCU College Night. With valid identification, all college students will receive $10 admission with a voucher for $1 hot dog or soda. Additionally, Happy Hour with $2 domestic drafts is between 6-7 pm for all adults 21 years or older.

Scott Timmins‘ five-game scoring streak is the best start by a Devil in franchise history. He is tied for sixth in the AHL with seven points, backed by three goals and four assists.
