The Albany Devils continued their best start in franchise history, adding a pair of wins last week. The team, which is 5-2-0-1, defeated the Utica Comets, 4-1, Wednesday and the Hartford Wolf Pack, 4-3, Friday. Albany’s six-game point streak was halted, falling to the Portland Pirates, 5-2, Saturday.

The Devils host the defending Eastern Conference Champions, the Syracuse Crunch, Wednesday (7 pm) and the Norfolk Admirals Friday (7 pm). The team then travels north to face the Adirondack Phantoms Saturday (7 pm). Audio and video of all three games can be streamed online at ahllive.com. Video is available on desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices. Friday and Saturday’s games will also be available on 104.5 “The Team” ESPN Radio.

Wednesday’s game at Times Union Center features $1 hot dogs and small sodas as part of “Dollar Dawg Night.” Friday’s outing is “SEFCU College Night” with $10 tickets for college students. Additionally, Happy Hour with $2 domestic drafts is between 6-7 pm for all adults 21 years or older.

The Devils have partnered with Price Chopper to support the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York with a Thanksgiving Food Drive, beginning Friday and continuing on Nov. 9 and 11. Fans who attend these games and donate a nonperishable item will receive a free ticket voucher to the team’s Nov. 20 contest.

Scott TimminsReid Boucher and Jon Merrill are all riding point streaks. Timmins’ eight-game stretch, which includes five goals and five assists, is tied for second longest in club history. Boucher and Merrill are on three-game runs. Boucher has a goal and three assists and Merrill has two goals and a helper.
