New Jersey Devils prospects Ryan Kujawinksi and John Quenneville are making an impact in the CHL playoffs.
Playing for North Bay Battalion, Kujawinksi scored at 10:28 of overtime in a 2-1 win against the Oshawa Generals during Game 3 of the OHL Eastern Conference Final. After dropping Game 4, the Battalion and Generals are tied 2-2 in a best-of-seven series.
Quenneville, who is a member of the Brandon Wheat Kings, registered a goal and an assist in an 8-3 rout of the Calgary Hitmen in Game 4 of their WHL Eastern Conference Final on Wednesday. It was Quenneville’s second multi-point performance of the series for the Wheat Kings, who lead the best-of-seven three games to one.
Kujawinkski was New Jersey’s third-round selection (73rd overall) during the 2013 NHL Draft. Quenneville was the team’s first-round pick (30th overall) during the 2014 Draft.
