What To Watch For
• Albany: During Game 3, Nick Lappin had one of the great postseason performances in franchise history. He forced overtime with 21 seconds remaining in the third and then netted the game-winning goal with 1:20 left during overtime. Lappin began the playoffs on the four line, but has moved to the top line alongside Reid Boucher and Brian O’Neill. In seven games, Lappin has three goals, an assist and a team-high 30 shots.
• Toronto: William Nylander, who missed Game 1 with an illness, netted his second goal of the postseason during Sunday’s game. The 20-year-old split time between the Marlies and the Maple Leafs this season, producing 45 points (18g-27a) in 38 AHL games and 13 points (6g-7a) in 22 NHL games. Nylander was the eighth overall pick during the 2014 NHL Draft.
