Preview: Devils at Admirals (March 28, 2015)
NORFOLK, VA — The Albany Devils go for their fourth consecutive victory when they battle the Norfolk Admirals Saturday at Scope Arena. The Devils are trying to move their way up the Eastern Conference standings. With 10 games to play, they are five points out of playoff position.

Scouting the Devils (30-25-5-6)
• Albany defeated Norfolk, 4-3, in overtime Friday. Joe Whitney had three points, including the game-winning goal with 21 seconds remaining in the extra frame. The Devils are 6-2-1-1 in their last 10 outings.
• Whitney’s performance Friday ended a seven-game goal draught and secured his third straight 20-goal season. The Devils winger is the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 196 points and 83 goals.
Scouting the Admirals (23-35-6-3)
• The Admirals are on a four-game winless streak, going 0-3-1-0 during that span. During Friday’s OT loss, Max Friberg had a goal and two assists. Netminder Jason LaBarbera made 31 saves.
• LaBarbera has carried the workload as of late. For the season, he is 8-15-7 with a 2.56 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage in 32 outings.
Saturday’s meeting will be the 44th all-time between the two clubs. The Devils are 15-24-2-2 overall, including an 8-12-1-1 home mark and a 7-12-1-1 road record. Albany is 2-1-0-0 against Norfolk this season.
