PROVIDENCE, RI – Coming off back-to-back road victories, the Albany Devils travel to face the Providence Bruins for the third game in a five game road swing. Puck drop is at 7:05 pm at Dunkin’ Donuts Center and the outing will be the first of six meetings between the two clubs this season.

Albany enters the contest second in the North Division at 6-3-2-0 (.636), while Providence is eighth in the Atlantic Division at 3-6-3-0 (.375).

Players to Watch

• Albany: Rookies Matt Lorito and Joseph Blandisi are second and third on the team with 10 and nine points, respectively. Lorito has points in six of 10 games this season, posting two goals and a team-high tying eight assists. Blandisi, who has eight points (3g-5a) in the last six outings, has four goals and five helpers.

• Providence: Alexander Khokhlachev leads the Bruins with 13 points, backed by four goals and nine helpers. He has led the team in scoring for the past two seasons, including 43 points (15g-28a) in 61 games last season.

Devils vs. Bruins Series

• All-Time Series: The Devils are 26-18-2-7 all-time against the Bruins, including a 15-9-0-3 home mark and a 12-9-2-4 road record. Albany went 1-1-0-0 against Providence last season.

• Last Meeting: During their last meeting, Albany lost, 3-2, against Providence on Dec. 13, 2014. Reid Boucher and Rod Pelley both scored and Scott Wedgewood turned aside a career-high 42 shots. Darcy Zajac, Ben Johnson and Cam Janssen registered assists. The Bruins’ Ethan Werek netted the game-winning goal with a shot from just inside the zone with 4.9 seconds remaining.
