ALBANY, NY — After a dominating performance last night, the Albany Devils go for their second win of the weekend with a 3 pm outing against the Toronto Marlies.

The Devils unloaded six goals last night, knocking off the Utica Comets, 6-1. Albany has won four of its last six games and is tied for third in the North Division at 4-3-1-0 (.563). The Marlies, which lead the division at 6-3-0-0 (.667), are coming off a 6-1 win against the Grand Rapids Griffins Friday.

Players To Watch

• Albany: Joseph Blandisi picked up four assists in last night’s win at Times Union Center. The rookie tied the AHL Devils’ record for most assists in a game, joining Olivier Magnan (2008), Jon DiSalvatore (2008), Cory Murphy (2009), and Matt Lorito (2015). Blandisi is now tied for third on the team in scoring with seven points (2g-5a).

• Toronto: William Nylander leads the Marlies in scoring with five goals and three assists for eight points. Nylander had a pair of goals in Toronto’s game Friday. J


The Devils and Marlies are set to face off for their fifth all-time meeting. Albany is 1-2-1-0 all-time against Toronto and 0-1-0-0 in their only game at Times Union Center. In two previous games this year, at Ricoh Coliseum, the Devils went 1-0-1.
