Preview: Devils vs. Wolf Pack, 7 PM

ALBANY, NY — Albany AHL history is on the line as the Albany Devils go for their 12th straight home victory when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7 pm Wednesday at Times Union Center. The Devils are trying to best the 1995-96 River Rats record for consecutive home wins.

The Devils are second in the North Division and third in the Eastern Conference with a 23-9-5-0 record (.689), while the Wolf Pack are tied for fifth in the Atlantic Division and tied for 10th in the conference at 19-19-2-0 (.500).

What To Watch For

• Albany: Corey Tropp has led Albany against Hartford this season with four points, including three goals and an assist in three contest. Overall, the 26-year-old is fourth on the team with 23 points, backed by 10 tallies and 13 helpers. He has six points (4g-2a) in the last 10 outings.

• Hartford: Former Union College captain Mat Bodie leads all Wolf Pack defenseman with 18 points, posting four goals and 14 assists in 40 games. Most recently, he has tallied 10 points (3g-7a) in the last 11 contests. Along with Ryan Bourque and Chad Nehring, he leads the team against Albany with three points.
