ALBANY, NY — After back-to-back wins at home last weekend, the Albany Devils welcome the Bridgeport Sound Tigers to Times Union Center Friday at 7 pm. The Devils have points in four of their last five games, going 3-1-1-0 during that span. The team opened the doors to Times Union Center last Saturday and defeated the Portland Pirates, 3-1, and the Binghamton Senators, 4-1, Sunday.

Albany: Yann Danis celebrated his 400th professional game with a victory Sunday, extending his winning streak to three games. He stopped 43-45 shots last weekend and has stopped 69-73 in his last three outings. The 34-year-old is 3-1-1 on the season and ranks seventh in the AHL with 303:34 played and eighth with 131 saves.

Bridgeport: Former Devil Joe Whitney, who led Albany in scoring the last four years, joined the New York Islanders organization as a free agent this past offseason. He is tied for the league lead with 11 points, producing five goals and six helpers in nine outings.

The Devils and Sound Tigers are meeting for the 63rd time. The Devils are 25-26-3-8 overall with a 20-8-1-2 home mark and a 5-18-2-6 road record. Albany went 5-3-0-2 against Bridgeport last year.
