The AHL has suspended Dan Kelly for one game for his actions in a game against Norfolk Saturday.

Just about everything that needed to happen for the Devils Friday night to keep their playoff hopes alive did.

Spring hockey is intense, nerve-wracking and extremely enjoyable.

The Devils had their four-game winning streak halted with a 2-1 loss against the Monarchs Wednesday at Times Union Center. Scott Clemmensen turned aside 27 shots and Matt Lorito netted his second goal of the season.

Coming off a 4-3 win Saturday, the Devils host the Wolf Pack for a 3 pm outing Sunday at Times Union Center.

The New Jersey Devils have recalled defensemen Seth Helgeson and Raman Hrabarenka from the Albany Devils.

With just six regular-season games remaining, the Devils have little room for error during their three-in-three road weekend. The Devils, who are five points out of the final Eastern Conference playoff spot, begin their travels Friday (7:05 pm) at Binghamton.

Winners of their last two games, the Devils face off against the Admirals Friday for the first meeting of a two-game series. Puck drop is at 7:30 pm.

In his first AHL game, Matt Lorito netted the game-winning goal with 5:21 remaining to give the Devils a 4-3 win against the Admirals.
