Blake Pietila completed the hat trick in the best way possible — scoring the game-winning goal in the closing minutes of the Devils, 4-3, victory against the IceCaps Saturday at Times Union Center.

Once again the Albany Devils have found a way to keep their winning streak alive. This time the magic came off Blake Coleman’s stick in overtime to lift the Devils to a 4-3 victory against the Providence Bruins Sunday at Dunkin’ Donuts Center.

The Devils unloaded three goals in four minutes during the first period on their way to a 3-1 victory against the Providence Bruins Friday.

The New Jersey Devils assigned six players to Albany Tuesday.

For the second straight season the New Jersey Devils young guns are participating in a rookie tournament ahead of the start of the 2016-17 season.

Blake Pietila, who has is averaging a point per game this postseason, sets the stage for Game 4 against the Marlies.

The Devils are heading to the Second Round of the Calder Cup Playoffs for the first time in club history after defeating the Comets, 6-3, Thursday.

No suspensions were handed out to the Devils following Saturday’s penalty-filled game against the Sound Tigers. However, Blake Pietila was injured during the contest.

Another Albany Devil is getting his shot in the NHL. On Wednesday, the New Jersey Devils recalled Blake Pietila from Albany.

Backed by Jim O’Brien’s three-point performance, the Devils defeated the Comets, 5-1, Saturday at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.

A goaltending duel Wednesday at Times Union Center ended with the Bruins prevailing, 2-1, in a shootout against the Devils. Both Scott Wedgewood and Providence’s Jeremy Smith made 23 saves, but Smith made two additional saves in the shootout.
