ALBANY, NY – Two of the top teams of the first month of the American Hockey League season go head-to-head Wednesday as the undefeated Albany Devils travel to face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 pm at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Devils are 5-0-0-0, while the Penguins are 3-1-0-0.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
• Points from the Blueline: Defenseman Reece Scarlett has three points (1g-2a) in the last two games and is tied with rookie John Quenneville for the team lead with four points. Both players are averaging 0.80 points per game. For his career, Scarlett has produced 75 points (13g-62a) in 170 contests.
• Up and Down: Steven Santini is expected to join the Devils in Wilkes-Barre for Wednesday’s game. The rookie defenseman was assigned by New Jersey to Albany Sunday for the game in Providence. He was then recalled back to the NHL Monday
• On the Kill: The Devils’ penalty kill unit ranks tied for seventh in the AHL at 90.9 percent. The team has successfully killed off 20 of 22 chances this season.
