One Last Time
The Albany Devils and the rest of the AHL are in the midst of the AHL All-Star break, which ends Thursday when the Devils travel to face the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The 7:05 pm game at PPL Center will be the final meeting between Albany and Lehigh Valley this season. The Devils lead the series 3-0-0-0.
On Friday and Saturday, the Devils return to Times Union Center for a pair of games against the St. John’s IceCaps. It will be the first meetings between the two teams since the IceCaps eliminated the Devils in four games in a best-of-five series during the first round of the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs. Friday’s game is slated for 7 pm and Saturday’s is set for 5 pm.
Friday’s game features “SEFCU College Night” with $10 tickets for all college students who present proper identification at the Times Union Center Box Office. Additionally, “Happy Hour” for all adults (21 years or older) will take place between 6-7 pm with $2 domestic drafts. On Saturday, the first 1,500 fans will receive a Dan Kelly bobblehead, courtesy of Yankee Trails.
Where They Stand
After 43 games, the Devils are fourth in the Northeast Division and tied for eighth in the Eastern Conference at 20-14-4-5 (49 pts.). Additionally, the team is 12-6-2-3 at home and 8-8-2-2 on the road.
